PayPal API integration and PayPal sandbox

I have generated my PayPal api credentials and would like to be able to test them.
So I put them into the API section of the PayPal payment gateway in my WooCommerce staging site.
I then connected to the site as a user and proceeded to create an order.
However, when I proceeded to payment, the only option available was to pay with a paypal account.

Can anyone tell me if this is “normal” behaviour within the PayPal sandbox, or should I see the option to pay with credit cards also ?
