Paypal button

Hi,

I just created a BUY-NOW paypal-button for the GOLD MEMBER. It created some kind of html <FORM>, this to insert a paypal-button.

Did you create the PayPal button following these instructions? If you did then you will use the shortcode. Also what do you mean by It created some kind of html form?

Oh my, Thanks for the instructions link btw,

1# – I just followed the instruction, login to paypal > My Selling Tools and created that IPN and typed in https://www.mysite.com , then selected Received IPN Message Enable and clicked saved.

After, I looked into this Instant Payment Notification (IPN) history, I didn’t select any but left as default. Something about the Search Date (dropdown).

After, For the Language Encoding I also left it alone, I suppose is for English by default?!

Final – I tested and clicked the GOLD-MEMBERSHIP [SHORTCODE] Buy-Now button on the site. It took me to paypal and did shown my website name, $7.99 and login to pay.

Do you think I’m now good? Beside is under sandbox

#2 – For My curiosity. From that login paypal page, there’s TWO options?
Subscribe using a debit or credit card (OR) Log in to subscribe (Paypal)

I clicked on either button, it doesn’t have a bullet option to click back if I decided to use paypal or credit. like many sites have that bullet like ebay check-out, walmart check-out. I hope you know what I mean by that?

I created a BUY-NOW paypal button, should I created another paypal button type can do that?

Also, able to add EXTRA NOTES for the login paypal page
Please advise my understanding as always ??

Do you think I’m now good? Beside is under sandbox

If it is working then you are ready to go live. Make sure you disable Sandbox option.

When you land in PayPal there is a link below the Pay with a Card button. This link allows you to cancel and return back to your site. If you choose either option and then you decide that you want to change, click on the back button on the browser. That should return you to the previous screen.

Are you talking about adding extra notes before they click on the Buy Now button? Or are you talking about adding additional notes for them to read when they land in PayPal page?

Hmmm, when I click the back button back to paypal, I got this below message instead?
Any idea is this mean my caching plugin is not working or just the firefox?

Ya, like this one I created for the BUY-NOW paypal which I can input EXTRA NOTE on the paypal login page.

I created a paypal button very long time ago using a cheap membership plugin at one time. I am able to input some note/phase. I’m not talking about paypal payment pro… for sure is paypal standard version.

Any idea which paypal have that NOTE BOX? LIke I said, it was very long time that I did it…

The form builder addon has extra fields that you can add to the registration form. Would this do the trick for you? Or do you need to ask for extra information while they are in the PayPal site?

Yes, The Form Builder that’s what I been waiting for with extra fields for the register form.

Anyway, unable to put extra note/phase on the Paypal page is NOT a big thing but if good if able to…As long is working correctly to collect money that’s all matters! I Just wants to make it a little more descriptions and presentable that’s all.. i.e like any invoice/on-line purchase for an item… It have the item description, etc. NOT just the company, price.

If so, I could always do an other buy-now buttons testing to see. I can always delete it if not right. Since I already created an official membership-button that I can fall back on.
