  • Hi Davidi,

Make sure Allow signups is set to yes. If no, it will redirect to whichever page you have the shortcode [pmpro_levels] or set as your levels page in the dropdown.

    Thanks Lisa,
When you say “Allow Signups” are you talking about “Anyone can register” ? If so, this is set to Yes. Even if I have a Free membership level setup, the Submit button link points to the Membership-Levels page.
    thanks

    Hi again,

I just saw that membership levels has a column “Allow Signups” which I assume is set up using “Disable New Signups” = not checked. Allow Signups is set to Yes for all my 3 levels.

    Dave,

If you look in the dash –
    https://yoursitename.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pmpro-membershiplevels

You should see your membership levels (best to stick to just a few right now until you understand)

Make sure that under the “Allow Signups” column it says “Yes”

Make sure that the page that you have the [pmpro_levels] shortcode on is properly selected in the dropdown also.
    https://yoursitename.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pmpro-pagesettings

Best if you had let PMPro generated all these pages for you when you installed and set up – to make sure that all the proper shortcodes are there.

Make sure all the dropdowns match – you can choose edit page on the right to verify proper placement of the shortcodes.

    Thanks Lisa,

Everything is setup as you mentioned. I did allow the plugin to generate the pages. All are pointing to the correct shortcode.

Just so you know, I am a .Net developer and Solution Architect with 25 years experience (unfortunately very little PHP) so I could get into the code and get my hands dirty but this is a free job I am doing for a local club and I just don’t have the time. Thanks for your help. Let’s say its a conflict and just close this and I’ll sort it out from here.

    Thanks again for your help.

Just to confirm it is a conflict with my Theme. Setting theme to Twenty Eleven and it works like a charm.

    Hi
    Lisa

    I have a question.
Why not expire a user manually added to the list of members after the period determined by me.

    Thanks
    Carmen

    Hi Carmen,

I’m not sure I completely understand your question, but you can manually edit the expiration date under the WordPress Users menu settings.

    Hope this helps!

    David,

The PayPal button submits to the checkout form, then PMPro processes some things and redirects to PayPal (for PayPal Express and Standard) and just uses the API for Website Payments Pro and Payflow.

Is there an issue with submitting to the checkout page? Is it not redirecting to PayPal for you? That might be another issue that needs to be addressed (can sometimes happen when WP is redirecting from HTTPS to HTTP and back again, etc, if multiple plugins are doing that)… so something to check into.

Carmen, can you open a new thread if you have an unrelated question?

Thanks for the reply. It is all good now. I changed my theme and everything works perfectly now.

    Hi Stranger

    I have a little problem.

Allegedly set a user today (04-Jun-2013) for one day (expire 05-Jun-2013).
    The question is.
Why show that user expires Members List (04-Jun-2013) and the user expires on (06-Jun-2013)?

    What settings should be.

    Thanks
