Paypal button problem

  • I copied the buy now button script from Paypal. If I paste it in a post, it does not work.

    If I paste it in the sidebar, it works fine.

    Why doesn’t it work in a post or page?

  • You cannot use a script inside of a post without a lot of work. If it is a javascript, see Using Javascript. If it’s a PHP script, you can’t run those inside of a post, only on templates, like javascripts, without some serious messing around and plugins.

    Keep it in the template files and it will work great.

    likely because of the line breaks. Stick it all on one line.

    Also, there is another type of paypal button… something about security, or something… try the other type.
