PayPal Buy Now buttons not functioning

    I looked around on previous PayPal button questions but I didn’t see this specific question asked, or any info that might help me. Apologies if I missed it! I’m brand-new to WP and trying to create some PayPal buttons. I would like the Buy Now buttons to be one drop-down menu with three options, where you can then select one and click Buy Now and it will take you to PayPal. However, they are showing up as three separate drop-down menus with only one option each. Then, when you click Buy Now, it just randomly selects one. The odd thing is that when I create them in PayPal and copy & paste the code, they look fine at first–both on the Visual tab of the edit page, and then when I click “View Page” and go to the page itself. It’s one drop-down menu with three options. However, the next time I try to edit the page or go to the page, they appear as three separate drop-down menus.

  • Could you paste the code PayPal provides you into a Pastebin (not here) and provide a link to the Pastebin so we can take a look? If it contains certain types of code – for example, an iframe, WordPress will strip it out, so that may be a potential cause for the problem, but I’ll need to see the code to be sure.

    Next to the code, in PayPal, it shows “Buyer’s View”, and in there it looks fine, but it doesn’t look fine when I paste it to WP.

    Hi there, unfortunately I get an “Unknown Paste ID!” error when I try to load the Pastebin URL. Would you mind trying again? I’m not sure what went awry – maybe some characters are missing at the end of the URL? Thanks!
