Paypal charged more than invoice amount

  • A customer ordered a product in British Columbia, Canada (charged BC taxes)

    The order total was 425.00 $CAD + 21.25 $CAD Tax = total $446.25
    But
    Paypal charged the client $480.25

    I have no idea why, the only idea I can come up with is that $480.25 is the cost with taxes included when this product is purchased in Ontario, Canada. But that might just be a coincidence?
