Hello, I installed the plugin on the WordPress run on my own server. When I try to connect to PayPal for the first time via the settings “Accept Donations with PayPal Donations” and click on “Connect with PayPal”, it shows “Processing…” but a popup window does not appear. How can I fix it? Thanks!

    Hi @piglab,

We have seen this a couple of times due to either:

    a) Using an old version of PHP. Make sure you are using 7.3 or above.

    b) Plugin/theme conflicts. In this case, the next step would be to try our Health Check tutorial. This can allow you to test your site with different plugins without hurting the front-end of your site at all. https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/

Let me know if you find a conflict with another plugin or the theme.

Thanks, Rick. Unfortunately, your instructions do not work. I run PHP 7.4.29. The Health Check does not show any problems. Also I installed your plugin on my other site on the same virtual server (Windows Server 2019) with a different theme and minimum plug-ins. Unfortunately, I have the same problem when I try to Connect PayPal: it’s hanging (Processing…), no pop-up comes up.

    Any other ideas?
