PayPal Credit Card (REST) – LIVE MODE

These logs are from the sandbox, and from what I see they are successful transactions. If you have an issue with live transactions we would need to see the live logs, and it would best to create a ticket here to submit those.

Yes, that’s the problem. As you see in the screenshots attached before I’m working in the LIVE mode, but the logs from my “paypal_credit_card_rest-794626463780b26c0c42a68ff3097a41.log ” tell that I’m working in Sandbox mode, what’s is wrong ?

Oh, I guess I missed that, sorry. That’s very odd, and we don’t have any other reports of this. Are you sure the log you’re providing here was generated from the live request?

Please go into WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs, and delete the PayPal REST logs. Then go back into your REST settings, double check the value for Sandbox is not enabled, and then click Save even if you don’t change anything.

Then give it another test to generate a fresh log with nothing but that one transaction in it, and let’s see how that looks.

Thank you for your reply on ticket [#456692]. My shop is in Germany. I read in some comments that Paypal REST is only for US, UK and Canada customers.
Is that right?

Ah, yes. Actually, PayPal Pro is available in US, UK, and Canada, but credit cards with the REST API are only available in the US. In fact, they just closed that off not long ago and they’re now redirecting people to Braintree instead.

Braintree should be available for you, though, and our plugin does support that.

Yes, Braintree supports direct CC processing on your own page, and it also has a Drop In UI option that uses a hosted iFrame.

Braintree includes a Drop-In UI option that works in a hosted iFrame so you wouldn’t need the SSL. This is supported by our plugin as well as the direct Braintree CC processing.

Either way, I would still recommend you use an SSL as this is one of the variables Google uses in SEO now, so you could hurt your page rank if you do not have an SSL running and protecting your pages.
