PayPal Donate button

    Ok I got my PayPal “Donate” button on a page, how do I get it in the header or Sidebar? I just can’t seem to figure out where to copy/paste the code for those two spots.
    Sorry, I’m a newbie, only semi WordPress literate.

  • In a sidebar generally put it in a text widget.

    What theme are you using? Link to your site?

    I downloaded a widget, but it only put text not the button.

    What widget are you talking about?

    As @wpyogi mentioned, you can do this with a text widget. From Appearance > Widgets, drag and drop a “Text” widget to your sidebar. Text widgets will accept plain text and HTML, so copy the code into the text widget you just created and save it.
