Turn off the wysiwyg editor, then edit the page and delete and re-insert the paypal code. Save.

Ok. I figured it out how to disable WYSIWYG editor, and the problem seems to be solved to some extent. Thank you!

But there are two more problems here now:
1. The link to pay pal doesn’t work correctly even though I just copy-pasted the code from Paypal. If you go to the page you will see that the link on the right culomn workd properly but the one on the page doesn’t.
2. I have disabled WYSIWYG editor to fix this problem. Should I keep it that way forver (as long as I have that “Donate” Button in my Donation page, or I can turn it on now?

If you really need the editor, you can re-enable it. Only time it could get problematic would be if you need to edit the page with the paypal button included.

I ran into the same problem. Using the plugin https://gh3.altervista.org/simple-paypal-donate-plugin/ solved the problem (I am still using the WYSIWYG editor).

You may want to change the alt title for the image in this plugin … it gives a non-english description.
