paypal email not containing purchases

Apologies for the long delay, can you please make sure that in Store Settings > Notifications panel your admin emails also include ORDERINFOSKU macro and that should include purchased items as well.

the issue is not what MP is sending in its email (although the formatting is awful), it is what paypal is sending, in their’s. In 2.9, MP passed along the contents of the shopping cart to paypal, the confirmation email from paypal contained the purchases. That was very helpful as the purchasers had a well formatted receipt to show what they bought.
Now MP sends paypal just the order ID… We could change or process BUT the formatting of the email from MP is BAD.
We still have a short window to restore the plugin and the database back to 2.9 to get our process functioning again.
I am hoping there is just a solution that either allows MP to send a more usable email or pass the contents of the Cart to paypal so we can use theirs…..

I’m afraid that as version 3 is a complete plugin re-write, this will need some custom development in order to create some custom macros to be used in these emails. As this requires an extended development time it surpasses the scope of our support and should be custom-made by a developer of yours.

Well that a real shame. I restored the previous version, that will get us through this time. I guess it just time to find a cart program moving forward. Thanks for the honest answer…
