Since updating Paypal for woocommerce to v1.4.4 the customers Paypal email address isnt saved to the order anymore. Is the plugin saving the PayPal email to a different meta field or is there an other way to get the address saved to the order?

Hmmm…it should be saving as it always did. We haven’t had any other reports of this specifically. Are you getting any email address at all in the order?

Yes the order email is saved correctly, but the customers PayPal email address isn’t added to the orders custom field as it used to. Any idea how to fix this?

Can you provide a screenshot of where you are expecting to see that you aren’t?

Before upgrading, the customers email would be saved to a custom field in the order. Now it’s missing. This is an order that was payed for with PayPal express checkout.

Okay, I get what you’re saying now. We must have missed that with our rebuild of Express Checkout in the new version. I’ll add this to our update list and update here when it’s ready.

This has been resolved in the release branch on GitHub and will be included in our 1.4.5 update coming soon. You can use that link to download the updated copy of the plugin and apply it manually if you would like to.

Let me know if you have any questions about that. Thanks!
