PayPal Error 10525 when checking out directly from the gift card page

    Hi!

    Hoping you can help me with an issue I’m having with the gift cards. After selecting the amount for the gift card and filling in the recipient and sender details, when I go to use the PayPal Buy Now button, I receive the error “PAYPAL ERROR (10525): AN ERROR (10525) OCCURRED WHILE PROCESSING YOUR PAYPAL PAYMENT. PLEASE CONTACT THE STORE OWNER FOR ASSISTANCE.”
    This only occurs on the gift cards pages. The other products we have available that aren’t gift cards don’t have this issue with the Buy Now button, and the issue does not occur when the gift card is added to cart and checked out that way.
    The theme currently in use is the Bridge theme. The PW Gift Card version is 1.31 and Woocommerce version 3.4.5 with the Woocommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway version 1.6.3

    It sounds like the “Buy Now” button requires parameters to be passed in so that it has an amount. The error 10525 means that there is a zero value passed in as a parameter according to the documentation.

    We will look at installing this plugin and re-creating the issue. Once we have a resolution I will let you know.

    just tested my paypal payment checkout and when added product to cart is displyed (thic product cannot be purchased ,so after that i tried to continue straight with paypal button and displayd issue (Paypal Error 10525)

    Can you provide the list of plugins that you use? This is available in the WooCommerce System Report, click on WooCommerce -> Status -> Get System Report.

    You only need to copy/paste the section regarding plugins.
