Since the 23rd August my clients site (emptybox.co.uk) has been having issues with payments attempting to use PayPal Express.

For these payments the user is sent back to the shipping and billing address checkout form (on the main site) after confirming the payment options on the PayPal site, instead of the Confirm Order page. This results in the order not going through and if the user attempts to click Place Order at this point it returns an error stating that First Name, Last Name, Country, Address, Email Address etc are required fields; even though they have/were filled in.

Has PayPal changed something that has broken the implementation? We haven’t altered anything on the site and the PayPal Express addon is up to date.

The same site also uses the SagePay plugin and that works fine.
