    Hello,

It looks like the latest update broke my checkout express process. The Pay with PayPal button I had set is no longer appearing so there is no way for customers to pay for their order. I also have a staging environment where the button is appearing correctly because I did not install the latest version on it, it has version 1.4.8.

I tried deleting the latest version and updating with the plugin code from my staging environment (1.4.8), but the button is still not appearing on my Live website. Please help!!

    Thanks,
    Peter

That sounds like a caching issue. Do you have any caching / CDN services that need to be cleared after you updated the plugin files?

I am looking at your site now and I see the PayPal checkout button.

Thanks for the quick reply! I re-updated and the paypal button reappeared somehow… However it is not the custom image that I had set up but looks like the default one..

Yes I use CloudFlare and also SG Cache locally. Should I clear both?

Okay, if you enable the new Smart Buttons then you can no longer use your own custom button. That said, I would recommend you take a look at the custom button set to Vertical with all payment icons enabled. I think that will give you the best look on your cart page.

If you want to use your custom image you’ll need to disable the Smart Buttons feature, which would then revert back to your original button functionality and settings.

Yes, it’s always a good idea to clear out caching/CDN tools after applying updates in general.

Thank you that did it! I will use the new smart button then, looks quite nice.

Thanks for the quick response, you’re the best!

Happy to help! If you have a moment to leave a review for the plugin it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
