    Hey guys,
the paypal express plugin for wordpress works great. Only on my checkout page I have an issue regarding regquired fields.

    1) customer goes via cart -> checkout page: chooses “paypal express”, ticks the checkbox for TOS, wants to buy, but is dedclined: it is still required to fill in the fields (NAP and stuff) – whats the sense for ppal express then?
    2) Either I would expect to disable Express on the checkout page (and only show it on product & cart page),
    3) Or I would like to have it usable without filling in the fields.

Is it a misconfiguration of my woocommerce? Or the pluging deliberately programmed that way?

    Thanks & BR in advance!!

    Hi @traudel,

By default, woocommerce will force the user to fill in the required fields and the Paypal option will be the same as any other gateway in the checkout page. Express checkout is valid for the cart/product page(premium feature) only.

Thanks for the answer. But can I deactivate Express on checkout and only show standard Paypal, cause I am worried that customers are confused by two paypal payment gateways. Especially when express is not working on checkout page (cause the fields need to be filled in).

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @traudel,

In that case, you can disable the standard PayPal on your site and keep only our plugin. We offer the same workflow of standard Paypal from the checkout page. There is no confusion is showing an error message that says to fill in required fields in checkout page.

All of our users are using the plugin this same way.
