PayPal Express running very slow!!

    Hi,

    I have emailed you via website and am desperate to get some help please. I have also set the debugging to on for the paypal express if that helps and sent you the file via a facebook message….

    Can you please help or advise?

    We have used the paypal express plugin for woocommerce at https://www.worldcup2014prizedraw.com/

    but when you select the product and click proceed to checkout, it takes almost 20 seconds util paypal appears ???

    Can you please advise what you think might be causing the problem as we have read all your documentation and scoured the internet but cannot find any help……..

    Hi nadvertex,

    When I click the checkout button and look at the status bar of my browser I see the following: “Waiting for https://www.worldcup2014prizedraw.com…”

    That means something about your theme or plugin(s) is causing the site to lag before making the HTTP request and redirecting to PayPal.

    I have not had this complaint from any other users, nor is it something I’ve come across myself during testing. It must be something unique to your theme or plugin collection.

    What I would recommend to start is disabling all of your plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal for WooCommerce. See if the problem goes away. If so, activate each of the other plugins one at a time and keep testing until you find the culprit.

    If it still happens with nothing but WC and PayPal for WC enabled, then it must be something about your theme, or possibly your web server.

    I could help you figure this out if it comes to that, but this would be outside the scope of general install and config help. As such, you would need to purchase premium support for that kind of help.
