• Hi,

I watched the video for the Paypal Integration, but in the Settings/RSVP Maker, I don’t have the field for Paypal configuration File…

    2. I can’t change the currency from USD to CAD. I didn’t see anything in the settings..

On the Settings screen for RSVPMaker, go to the Payments tab. Currency is at the top of that page, followed by the spot where you can set your PayPal credentials. You can click the button to have the configuration file automatically generated and recorded based on your parameters.

To secure the file better, you optionally can store it outside of the path for your public web content. For example, if your website uses /home/username/public_html/ for web content, you might move the file to /home/username/ to prevent hackers from poking at it. Not sure how much it matters, but can make sense as a precaution. For the same reason, I often set up sites to put wp-config.php in the directory above public_html.

Last question, is there a way to book an event with fee and with no fee?
Like, a dinner for $10 and only the presence for $0. Because if I add a unit with $0, it’s not displayed.. I dunno if I’m clear..

Off the top of my head, I’d say you might need to create two event posts, one with a title like “My Event (No Dinner)” and link between the two.

    Ok I see.. hum.

And for the paypal credentials, it’s only with a business/pro account right? Because I had already 2 sandbox accounts (perso and pro) and I can see the login/pwd/signature only on the pro account. And my Paypal account is only the personal one…

You might want to try Stripe, which is what I use for most of my projects these days. Less fuss than PayPal. Stripe.com
