    I am having great trouble with PayPal sending my site the IPN after an order has been paid so Woocommerce sends the new order email to the customer and myself from my site.

    I understand that Woocommerce does not send the new order email as it shows the status as ‘Pending Payment’ and needs confirmation from the PayPal IPN to send it.

    I have read countless articles and the settings on both my Woocommerce and on PayPal look correct. My server host have tried hard but cannot find the issue either and everything looks to be in order. On PayPal it keeps trying to resend to my site but with no success. I have followed all the information on the link below

    I am now totally stuck & frustrated what to do to resolve the issue. Do I need to set up a ‘webhook’ on my site in the Woocommerce Settings ‘advanced’ tab for the PayPal IPN to work? I haven’t read anywhere that specifically says I do but this seems logical. If so please can you advise on the settings information in particular an example of what I put as they secret key

    You mentioned that you’ve tried everything here:

    However, I didn’t see any mention of a conflict test, i.e. where you disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and switch the theme to Twenty Seventeen, and then make a test order. Can you please confirm?

    Hello

    I tried as suggested disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and switched the theme to Twenty Seventeen and this worked.

    I tried again with only my theme Avada & Woocommerce activated and it failed which suggests a conflict with Avada?

    Do you have any suggestions on what it might be?
