• I am having an issue with receiving payment. I have woocommerce set up to only have the paypal gateway in use. I have it set up with our email that was used to set up the paypal account, and the paypal account is verified.

    I recently had an order come in, and it shows up in the woocommerce orders as completed, with the comment added in of

    IPN payment completed

    But when I check our paypal account, it shows no transactions received or completed.

    The sandbox is unchecked. I am at a loss for what to try or to look for to have this work.

    Any ideas?

    We have more than one person working on our site with access to the woocommerce settings, and as it turns out, the sandbox was checked when my client reported the problem, and then was magically unchecked before I saw it.

    So my best guess is that once something is completed in the sandbox, it is completed, and does not reprocess when you take it out of the sandbox.

    In our case, the the person ordering thinks their order went through (with no money being taken out of their account) and the store shows it as completed (with no funds being deposited). Of course talking to the person who placed the order, they swear up and down that the money was taken from their account and that they are owed the product.

    Terrible learning experience on this one.

    Not sure if this happened to you as well Crystalgroves, but it may be worth checking into if you have more than one person with woocommerce access.

    It wasn’t the sandbox for me, it was the IPN registry in Paypal apparently, which was not easily documented for installing WooCommerce, but I did find it in their FAQ.

    Now to figure out if I can get the missed orders processed still.

    I hope you get it straightened out. Luckily we only lost 1 order, but it’s painful either way.

    When I go into PayPal to update the IPN settings, it asks for the URL script. what is that? I put in my website’s URL as I didn’t know, and there was no error message given.

    I’ve gotten orders,saying they paid via PayPal, but there is no transaction in my PayPal account. Sandbox is unchecked.

    Did anyone find what works?
