Paypal not working on iPad

Hi,
A customer was having trouble ordering on his iPad, and I was able to recreate the problem as well. When a customer goes to click “Debit or Credit card”, the modal window(?) never opens, and instead, the customer is returned to the top of the checkout page.
I read through the previous support threads, and it may be a reCAPTCHA problem, but I’m not sure. Should I disable reCAPTCHA? I’m not sure what to do from here.
Edited to add – this only seems to be a problem on iPad/tablet?
