Paypal order pending or not going through

Hello there, I’m having trouble with orders placed with PayPal. The orders stay pending and I have to manually put the orders through. Also some of my course orders never made it to my paypal account, They just stayed pending and I never received payment. I didnt even knew until recently that the orders were there, I never received an email or a notification from paypal. How can I fix the issue?
