Paypal paid orders: do they get completed by default?

    I want to know if the orders are marked as completed when a user pays.
    The orders have a note on the details (they are paid) but they are still shown as processing.

    I didnt find anything clear on this. Will they change or is it intended to do it manually?

    Unless the products you are selling are marked as “Virtual”, they will not get automatically completed when a user pays and payment goes through successfully, they’ll go to the “Processing” status by default.

    You can change that to complete orders by marking your products as “Virtual” here: https://cld.wthms.co/IzhOBE (but then shipping won’t be an option), or using an extension like this to complete the orders after payment: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-order-status-control/
