• Hej,

I wrote a WordPress plugin that adds a paypal button to the page. Tested in paypal sandbox. Is that enough? Can I send it to www.ads-software.com?

  • As described here, you should observe the guidelines with your plugin and also read the FAQ. As soon as you have fulfilled everything that is written there, you are welcome to upload your plugin here so that it can be checked by the plugin team. Note that the waiting time for an answer is currently extremely long – be patient.

Thanks! I mean, i tested plugin only in paypal sandbox. Therefore, those who download it and use it will actually test it in real conditions – is this acceptable?

You should make sure that the functions you provide also work in a live system. What speaks against testing it with the live system? At least it would be my recommendation to do so. If you have further questions, I would recommend that you contact the e-mail address given in the guidelines. There, those who also do the plugin check would answer you (again, the answer could take some time).

Yes, i need to test the plugin in real conditions. Paypal does not allow you to buy from yourself – otherwise I would test on my real account. I will think.

Would you install a plugin from an author who hadn’t tested it?

I’ll try to find someone who has a paypal, then I’ll test it.
