PayPal Plus & Pay upon Invoice phaseout

German merchants using PayPal Plus for “Pay upon Invoice” now have the opportunity to upgrade to the new WooCommerce PayPal Payments integration.

Over the coming months, PayPal is phasing out the PayPal Plus service which will eventually impact the functionality provided by this integration. While some features may continue to work, the “Pay upon Invoice” or “Kauf auf Rechnung” payment method will be one of the first features to be impacted by the phaseout.
As a consequence, the development for the PayPal Plus integration has been suspended and our development efforts are focused on PayPal Payments, the new default PayPal integration for WooCommerce.

All PayPal Plus users are encouraged to upgrade to the new integration as it comes with several new features. More information about the upgrade to the new integration can be found in the PayPal Payments Upgrade Guide.
