    Hi,

So I recently set up a site for a company I work for and am finding that all credit card transactions are being declined (most due to CVV2 failure). All orders are entered through a third party (of customer service), and while it would have been odd for all of them to be entering in the info incorrectly I tried a small transaction myself, using my own info. This also was declined.

I logged into our PayPal account just to verify, but all of the transactions are in fact being declined (most for CVV2 verification issues).

So is there any known issue with something like this happening with this PayPal gateway plugin? My PayPal login details are correct (the orders are making it to PayPal), but it just seems that either the CVV2 code isn’t being passed or something is going wrong with the communication between PayPal and my company’s website.

Maybe there’s some simple/obvious setup step I’ve missed, but so far I’ve really just setup WP/WooCommerce, installed this PayPal plugin and enabled the PayPal Pro Payflow method, entered my login details (partner, merchant, user, and password all entered). Test transactions work but live transactions are all declined.

Might be unrelated, but the ‘log’ function is not working either. No logs have been created and I’m not seeing any errors show up in my error_log files that would indicate something preventing this.

So all transactions are being declined and I can’t get any logging on it to help. Orders seem to make it to PayPal but always seem to have one (or more) pieces of information incorrect.

    Anyone?

After talking with PayPal and my payment processor (along with further testing), the CVV2 code is not being passed to PayPal via this plugin.

    Anyone have any clues?

I had trouble with this plugin and had to change to a different one that is free via Woocommerce: WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway. That fixed my problems.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like this was what I had to do myself. But after switching orders seem to be going through just fine.

    Thanks!
