PayPal Pro Payflow Expiration Date Error

I am experiencing an issue similar to the one explained in the PayPal Pro Payflow Expiration Date BugFix ticket that was resolved a little over a year ago. I’ve confirmed that all the settings with my PayPal Pro Payflow plugin have been configured properly and reached out to Paypal to troubleshoot but the issue persists. When submitting card information I am allowed to enter both mm/yy or mm/yyyy in the expiration field and according to the previous post only xx/yy should work.
Here is a response from the log entry.
