    Hello:

    WP v5.6
    CF7 v5.3.2 (free version)
    CF7 PayPal & Stripe v1.8.1 (free version)

Only using PayPal, not Stripe. This has been working properly for a long time and I don’t know why or when it stopped working.
After submission of form it does not redirect to PayPal page.
All settings are correct and info is correct.
I adjusted the Temp Storage and Redirect settings, all combinations, still no result.

    Any suggestions?
    Thank you for your time.

When you submit the form, does it hang or does it redirect you to a different part of your website? Is there any indication the form was submitted?

When you submit the form, the WP form submission note “thank you for submitting” pops up within a second under the form. That’s it. No lag, hang, or spinning circles on the page or in the tab.
Before, it would show the thank you note then immediately redirect to the paypal page.

Are you using any cache, minify, or CDN plugins? Can you try disabling those and giving it a shot again?

    Thread Starter KMC2014

I am not using any of those or have any installed.

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin. We released a new update today.

Make sure your server is running PHP 5.6+. You can use a free plugin like WP-ServerInfo to find your current PHP version.

Go to the plugins settings page. Change the redirect method to “2”.

The following plugins can cause problems:
Contact Form 7 – Success Page Redirects
    Contact Form 7 Redirection
    Contact Form 7 Captcha
    Contact Form Submissions
    CF7 Smart Grid Design Extension

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin. We released a new update today. – My wordpress backend and the plugin page says it is the latest version at CF7 Paypal & Stripe Add-on is v1.8.1 and CF7 v5.3.2. I will keep an eye out for the update (my site updates automatically)

Make sure your server is running PHP 5.6+. – Running 7.3+

Go to the plugins settings page. Change the redirect method to “2”. – did this before and just reset it to 2 again, still not working

The following plugins can cause problems:
Contact Form 7 – Success Page Redirects – just shows success message, no redirects set (except for paypal add-on which still isn’t working)
Contact Form 7 Redirection – no redirects set
Contact Form 7 Captcha – no captcha set
Contact Form Submissions – not familiar with this plugin, don’t have it
CF7 Smart Grid Design Extension – don’t have this

I’ll keep an eye out for the update, but currently the paypal redirect used to work and now still doesn’t.

The latest version of our plugin is 2.8.3 and we believe this issue is fixed in the latest bugfix. You mention that you’re not up to date on this version, please update our plugin and let us know if it’s fixed or not.

Ok, I updated the plugin and it still doesn’t work. It also says in the backend of WP and on the plugin page that it is v1.8.2 now, updated about an hour ago.

    Contact From 7 PayPal & Stripe Add-On
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/contact-form-7-paypal-add-on/

And the Contact Form 7 plugin is listed as v5.3.2
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/contact-form-7/

Are you talking about a different plugin? How could it be v2.8.3?

We are having the same issue. None of our membership is being sent to paypal to pay their dues. (It is being logged as sent and pending, but the screen just says thank you.) The last successful submission was apparently February 2020.

Paypal & Stripe: v1.8.1 – All updates available have been applied and when you search for this plugin, that is the version that displays.
    CF7 v5.3.2

Make sure your server is running PHP 5.6+. – v7.0.33

Go to the plugins settings page. Change the redirect method to “2”. – Done – still not working.

The following plugins can cause problems: (I am guessing these are different plugins, not settings?)
Contact Form 7 – Success Page Redirects – Not installed
Contact Form 7 Redirection – Not installed
Contact Form 7 Captcha – Not installed
Contact Form Submissions – Not installed and not found
CF7 Smart Grid Design Extension – Not installed

We do have other plugins, none related to CF7.

@awatsonmaston Please create a separate support topic with a URL to your page so that we can test and diagnose your form individually. Note that v1.8.1 is not the latest version, please check for updates via your WordPress admin page.

@kmc2014 I made a typo on the version numbers, my mistake. v1.8.2 is indeed the latest version of our plugin. When I visited your website, I was able to successfully complete the form and was redirected to your PayPal page. It took a few seconds for the page to load, but it is working fine for me: https://share.getcloudapp.com/P8ukY4Y8

Well I can’t get it to work on anything. Safari, Chrome, Firefox, IE, incognito tabs, private tabs, mobile, tablets, etc, etc. I can wait 30 seconds or 5 minutes, nothing redirects to paypal. I have no clue how it worked for you, which is baffling. I’ll see if I can get it to work, otherwise I’ll just move onto a different product. Thanks.

No other help? Besides, of course, the info you just copy and pasted from the documentation I have already referenced because it’s almost 2 years old. Thanks for that. The product doesn’t work in any capacity except somehow for you in the cutoff video you sent me. Anything else to suggest before I remove your product and go with another one? Thanks.

Our team is looking into your report, but we’re unable to reproduce the issue. We suspect that there may be another plugin in use or a custom theme you’re using that is causing a conflict. When the form was tested, there were no issues and it submitted fine for us. Thanks for your patience while we investigate.
