I hadn’t used a PayPal contact form in a few months until today when I needed a new one. WordPress said there was an update available which I accepted and then realized it took me back to the free version. I deleted the installed version and downloaded the version from original payment email and installed it (v5.10).

I created a new form. When I submitted it the page did not redirect to Paypal for payment, but returned to the form. Next I deleted the plugin, deleted the 3 database tables and reinstalled. The new form I created also does not redirect to Paypal.

Last thing I tried was to disable all of the plugins except CP Contact Form for Paypal and still no luck.

I’m not sure where to look next. The other plugins have been re-enabled for the moment. Link: https://www.bah3.org/green-dress-run/green-dress-run-registration/

    Thanks,
    Todd

    Hi Todd,

In most cases that is because the PayPal redirection is disabled in the settings or because the price field contains a currency character, a zero or a non-valid number. Please keep only a valid number in the price field.

Isn’t recommended to delete the plugin databases, that way you lost your current settings.

I’ve just tested your page and seems to be redirecting to PayPal. If you already found the solution could you please confirm the cause?

    Thank you!

Thanks for the quick response! Deleting the plugin database was a last resort. I hadn’t corrected the issue, but that fact that it worked for you gave me a lead. My web host seems to be flagging certain words. Not sure if it is supposed to be some kind of DoS protection, hack attempts. But as long as that name wasn’t in the form it re-directed just fine.

Thanks for the help and the great product!
