Paypal Redirect not working for Contact Form 7 – PayPal & Stripe Add-on

    None of our membership is being sent to paypal to pay their dues. (It is being logged as sent and pending, but the screen just says thank you.) The last successful submission was apparently February 2020.

    Paypal & Stripe: v1.8.2 – All updates available have been applied and when you search for this plugin, that is the version that displays.
    CF7 v5.3.2

    Make sure your server is running PHP 5.6+. – v7.0.33

    Go to the plugins settings page. Change the redirect method to “2”. – Done – still not working.

    The following plugins can cause problems: (I am guessing these are different plugins, not settings?)
    Contact Form 7 – Success Page Redirects – Not installed
    Contact Form 7 Redirection – Not installed
    Contact Form 7 Captcha – Not installed
    Contact Form Submissions – Not installed and not found
    CF7 Smart Grid Design Extension – Not installed

    We do have other plugins, none related to CF7.

  • ON CONTACT/OTHER SETTINGS/REDIRECT METHOD …. select 1, Method1.
    In my case I always used Method 2 until now when the PayPal redirection stopped working.
    Now with Method 1, everything is back to normal.

    I am having the EXACT same problem. My form posts a message “Thank you for your message. It has been sent”

    I also once got the message “Problem using PHP sessions. Admin – Go to Contact ->PayPal & Stripe Settings -> Other -> Temporary Storage Method -> Select Cookies”

    But Cookies was already selected…any advice?

    This was never resolved despite all attempts to troubleshoot sent by the developers. I eventually discontinued use of the plug-in. I implemented a regular redirect to go to Paypal directly.
