Paypal redirection not working

Dear all,
I just install the pulgin and tried it out with a test event. My question might be a little stupid but can’t find the answer anywhere so I ask the community.
When I try to pay the registration fee, I should be redirected on Paypal but instead I’m redicted do https://www.mypage.com/mypage/? and nothing happens. No error is printed. And no confirmation email is sent or anything as such.
Am I doing something wrong ?
