We’ve recently successfully upgraded to this plugin where we were using the old PayPal Standard plugin before. We’ve also turned on PayPal Pay-In-3.

However, now we’ve found that we need to go into the PayPal dashboard and select “Tracking information not required”. Is there anyway to have this automatically checked? We don’t directly ship any of our products and this is creating a lot of new operational overhead.

    Hi @benkelly92,

However, now we’ve found that we need to go into the PayPal dashboard and select “Tracking information not required”.

I’m not sure why you would need to do this. Would you mind explaining what kind of problem this is creating for you?

Is there anyway to have this automatically checked?

PayPal Payments integrates PayPal tracking, which allows you to update the tracking information from the WooCommerce order via the tracking metabox or programmatically as outlined in the documentation here.
To set the “Tracking information not required” checkbox in the PayPal interface from WooCommerce, the tracking details must be updated without a tracking number.

This can either be done manually with the Create button in the tracking metabox or by setting the order to “Completed” as this also automatically updates the tracking details at PayPal.
The documentation for this should go live soon, but I hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
