I have been running PayPal WooCommerce for a client for a while, and everything was working fine. However, recently, the PayPal buttons no longer appear in the checkout. Everything was running smoothly before. I can’t explain it. I’ve spent several hours searching through all the tips and tricks, but nothing has helped. All settings are correct, and the connection to PayPal is also active. Can anyone help me?

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

It is very difficult to explain what happened on your site, because it would require testing that requires backend access.
I did take a look at your site and see that the PayPal button is visible on the cart page, but not on the checkout page.

Firstly, I would try to create a new checkout page that only contains the short-code [woocommerce_checkout] and test if this shows the checkout page button from PayPal. If this works, you might have used a page builder template that does not work with our plugin.

After this, you may want to perform a full conflict test to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists. Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: How to test for conflicts.

If both these options don’t show you any progress, you might want to share your system report with us and possibly logs/order notes to make it possible for us to review the site and see if we can correlate this with any possible known issues. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well).

    Kind regards,
    Joost

I am having the exact same problem, which must have been caused by a recent update in one of the plugins. The buttons have all disappeared from my Cart page (https://www.majesticherbs.com/cart/). I had to disable Smart buttons so that the default button would show.

When I look at the page’s source code, I see the following line where the smart buttons are supposed to appear:

    <div class="wc-proceed-to-checkout angelleye_cart_button"><div class="angelleye_smart_button_top"></div></div>

    The div is empty…

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello @l3kilos,

Sorry to give you this response, but the steps to take are the same as mentioned before. You need to perform conflict testing.

However, this error mentioned “angelleye”, which is another plugin that our support team is supporting. If you have the Angell Eye plugin active, you might want to start by deactivating that and seeing if that improves the situation.

Please let me know if the conflict tests show you any improvement and if you require any help from our side. If you want to share details for us to look at like the system report or logs and you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well).

    Kind regards,

Hello Joost, so i have to say sorry the issue is not caused by your plugin..

The problem was the plugin called “germanized for woocommerce”. The customer had the pro version of it and didnt payed for license after one year.. so the plugin was not enabled with all features.. This caused the issues that not paypal buttons were visible on the checkout. After downgrading to “germanized basic” everything worked again perfectly.

im pretty sure some people will have this issue in the future with germanized..

    Thanks for the huge support
