I’m getting reports from some users that When they hit the PalPal button to checkout it doesn’t connect to PayPal. Then when they try it again it will work fine. They were using different devices/operating systems. Could this have anything to do with Fluid Checkout and my PayPal integration? I’m using PayPal Express Checkout Payment Gateway for WooCommerce by Web Toffee along with Fluid Checkout.

    Hi @edude,

We have not yet tested PayPal Express Checkout Payment Gateway for WooCommerce by Web Toffee along with Fluid Checkout.

    1. Could you confirm that this only happens when Fluid Checkout is activated?

We’ll test the WebToffee plugin in the following days.

    I’ll keep you posted.

    Hi @edude,

I tested the checkout flow on your website and got the following error message:

Not enough data to create this user.

Please check which fields are required to correctly integrate with the plugin PayPal Express Checkout Payment Gateway for WooCommerce by Web Toffee.

With a second attempt and changing the email address to a real one, it redirected to PayPal as expected.

    Diego

    Hey Diego

Thanks for checking and for the info. Hmmm that’s strange no one has mentioned that error message before. I wonder why that happened and only the first time? If it was a matter of the plug-in requiring more information to create a user wouldn’t it fail every time?

The WebToffee plug in developers responded as well and they said it worked fine on their end. Thanks again for helping me with this complex issue. Nice plug-in

    Hi @edude,

Yes, I think it should fail every time if data was missing.

It seems that your products are all virtual and do not require shipping, right? If that is the case, check with the WebToffee plugin if they require shipping information to be sent.

We had some users report a similar problem with another payment service (Authorize.net) while using a local pickup shipping method, in which case, the shipping address information is not sent.

    Best,
    Diego
