    Hello,

    The Paypal standard payment method does not work properly. When the customer makes a purchase via paypay and pays with a card, the order is written to the “On hold” state after payment and the customer has to wait for a manual move to the “complete” state.

    But everything is fine if the customer pays with the credit he has on the paypal account. Then order goes to “complete” state.

    I will be happy for your ideas on how to solve it.

    Hello @setsbase,

    Sorry to hear you’re having trouble!

    PayPal Standard generally depends on your site hearing back from PayPal via Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). It may be that your site or PayPal account aren’t configured properly for your shop to receive IPN messages.

    The first step is to make sure you have Enable IPN Email Notifications checked in your PayPal Standard settings, and that IPN is enabled on your PayPal account – click here for how to configure your PayPal account.

    If you are sure that all of that is configured according to the setup guide, please try our recommended IPN debugging steps, testing your order flow in between steps.

    Hi,

    thanks a lot for your comment! I updated PayPal IPN URL and now I’ll see whats gonna happen. I’ll let you know.

    HI, after I added PayPal IPN URL still not worked. So I changed Receiver email to the same as the paypal email and now it looks like it work.
