• I am setting up a WooCommerce store and for now I plan to use the built-in PayPal Standard. I have set everything up (Auto-Return, Return URL, PayPal IPN, Payment Data Transfer/Identity Token) according to the instructions provided both by WooThemes and by PayPal. I am currently running in Sandbox mode while I set up and test my store.

It has been awhile since I used PayPal Standard. When I complete checkout at PayPal, I am given a link to Return to my store. Clicking the link brings me to the correct URL (mystore.com/checkout/order-received/) and download links, if applicable, are provided on this page as they should be.

However, I noticed when I purchased some extensions from WooThemes, I was taken back to the WooThemes site automatically (i.e., I didn’t have to click a Return link to get there). How can I make this happen in my own store? I don’t want my customers to have to click a link to return. I thought that was the whole point of enabling Auto-Return.

Have I set up something incorrectly? Am I getting this Return link because I am in Sandbox mode?
