Paypal standard checkout add logo

    Hi, How do we customize the paypal standard checkout page with a company logo, paypal does not seem to offer that option anymore, do I need to setup something special in the API to do that? The payment page just has paypal logo on it no company name or logo.

    Hi Carin,

    You mean the PayPal page you get redirected to after WooCommerce checkout, correct? You will need to ask PayPal how to do this.

    I did they said its not possible, I was wondering if there was some kind of workaround in woocommerce to go to a pge in paypal that could be edited. Its a pretty big problem for users of Paypal Standard- no Branding. is the only solution to use a paid version of paypal?

    Hey Carin,

    With off-site payment methods such as PayPal, your WooCommerce site doesn’t have control over the pages your customer’s are shown. That is determined entirely by PayPal. There isn’t any way to work around that on the WooCommerce side of things.

    There are other PayPal Products where some branding such as your company name is added to the page more prominently. However if that is your concern, the best option is to choose an on-site payment processor. This way you can control the pages on WooCommerce.

    Here are a few examples of ones that you can use:

    PayPal Braintree:

    PayPal Payments Pro:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/paypal-pro/

    Stripe:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/stripe/

    Square:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/square/
