Paypal Standard is not working properly. IPN notifications do not arrive.

    Good afternoon, how are you?

    I have a problem that started on 2/4/2021, where all payment confirmation notifications that came from Paypal to my website simply stopped being read.

    I contacted Paypal and they confirmed that they are sending payment confirmation notifications normally to the site, however, there seems to be an instability in the “PayPal Standard” plugin that makes the notification unread.

    Everything was working normally until 2/3/2021 and there was no editing or alteration of the site between those dates.

    When accessing the URL below, I noticed that all notifications sent until 02/03/2021 are as “Sent”, however, as of 02/02/2021, all notifications are blocked in “Repeating”.

    Paypal reported to contact Woocommerce support to resolve this issue.

    Currently the site has the Woocommerce plugin, Woocommerce Subscription and Paypal Standard for payment management.

    I stress that everything was working fine until 2/3/2021, but after that (without any changes to the site), he simply stopped reading Paypal notifications and now all payments made are stopping in the “Payment pending” state, even the Paypal has already confirmed the payment.

    An important point to note is that Sandbox payments work normally, but the actual payment does not.

    I need an update, the problem is hampering website sales.

    I am not seeing any efforts or feedback from the Woocommerce team or the community to resolve this issue.

    It is incredible, the site in question has been unpaid for several weeks and no solution is brought.

    I need a solution, a resolution of the problem, can you answer me?

    Paypal has already explained that this is not up to them. And the server where the site is hosted has already said that there is no block, so the problem is in your integration.

    I am waiting for the solution!

    Oh well… The exact same thing is happening to my website. I can’t run it properly and the time I take to fix the problem mannualy sometimes is not fast enough and I lose clients… I hope you guys manage to find a solution soon…

    Nothing stood out from the System Status Report, I could only recommend keeping WooCommerce, other plugins, and WordPress versions up to date.

    Good afternoon,

    I’ve done all this IPN Debugging process that this link shows, but the problem has not been solved.

    And a funny point is that the site receives IPN notifications normally in Sandbox mode, only in Production that does not.

    I noticed that in some Paypal Logs on the site “Musical em Bom Português”, the following excerpt appeared:

    Can you help me to solve this problem?

    I have a similar problem: the “paypal standard” in woocommerce does not finalise the payments!
    The buyer pays the sum with paypal, but the payment is not processed by our paypal (webshop side), and woocommerce shows “on hold” for the order.
    Everything is correctly setup (IPN, API keys, etc.).

    I correct: the payments were not arriving because the paypal account was not verified. (little stupid detail that was ignored by the financial dept.) So please ignore my post here above!

    Hi @devlamattina. Looking at your system status report, you appear to have premium plugins from WooCommerce.com. If that’s the case, could you log into your account and click on the support tab so we can troubleshoot with you further? In particular, please share screenshots of the order notes for the order that you are having issues with. I’m also interested if temporarily deactivating Autocomplete WooCommerce Orders has any impact.
