Paypal Standard not returning to site

  • I am on 4.9.2 wordpress and 3.13.1 WP eCommerce. I am having an issue as of about 2 months ago. After a user purchases a product and pays by paypal, it is not returning to my website to provide the transaction confirmation screen nor is it updating the status of the order consistently. Using the Paypal Standard Gateway. I have multiple sites connected to the same paypal account which has been working fine up to the start of this issue. I am seeing it on the other site as well. I have been trying to trace down the issue but have had no success as of yet. I thought while I continue to troubleshoot that I would toss it out to the community to see if there are any thoughts around troubleshooting or ?

  • Hi Bob,

    Have you got access to the Apache server logs? They’d show whether the responses from Paypal.

    The thing I have noticed, though, is that your SSL certificate’s validity started December 7th – “about two months ago”. Coincidence?
