PayPal subscription changes

According to this announcement, changes are

integration will no longer provide the ability to modify an existing subscription or have PayPal create a username and password when signing up for a subscription, these features will no longer work

Since in Membership 2 Pro those features were never used that means there will be no changes in our plugin.

How about Membership 1 Free/Pro and Membership 2 Free?

Kasia just made a typo in there, Membership 2 Pro and Membership 2 Free have the same basic functionality and the difference is between the add-ons available.
Since none of these add-ons, free or pro, are affecting how the PayPal works in Membership 2 plugin there will be no affect on either of the plugins ??

I would like to have the abilty to alter existing Paypal subscriptions. Members who have paid a subscrition to our organization via Paypal are unable to change the amount nor the date themselves, nor can we do this through Paypal’s admin account. As we increased our rates last year we are suffering from alot of members whose payments are still coming in at the old rate. Is there any plugin that would give us this functionality?

I’m afraid that Membership 2 Pro can’t do that. Those are limitations of PayPal.
Your members would need to cancel and subscribe again.
