PayPal taking over current browser tab

  • We have an ecommerce WordPress site and we are using Adaptive Payments in Paypal…the issue is that when the user hits our Pay Now button on our WordPress site, PayPal opens in the same browser tab (thus causing the user to leave our site)…we want PayPal to open in a new tab. My developers say they can accomplish this only in regular PayPal, but not when we are using Adaptive Payments in PayPal. That seems a little weird to me and I want to see if anyone else has encountered this problem.
