    I have been successful in creating recurring events in Events Made Easy, but I can’t make any progress with respect to Paypal.

    I have searched in the documentation, forums and confirmed on the plugin compatibility page that I don’t have conflicting plugins.

    I have added in the RSVP Payment form header :
    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    jQuery(document).ready( function($) {
    $( “#paypal_form” ).submit();
    });
    </script>

    Always include JS in header doesn’t appear to make any difference.

    When I book, I get confirmation, the appropriate emails are sent, 5 second delay and then am forwarded to the page :
    https://www.lov-owa.ca/events/p/5e4af5c56cb78_f3f6cf829ef51f5bd3f18a3e56179c61/
    so not even to the point where I get a paypal button. (The hex string seems to change with attempts)

    I started with Paypal, then tried Paypal legacy based on a note in the forums. I verified the Paypal sandbox/user info using a different (but not as good) plugin previously. I did see reference to “select payment method” but don’t see anything under the settings/payment tab.

    I

      really

    like this plugin, just have to get paypal going.

    I’m sure I’m missing something obvious. Any help you might be able to provide would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Randy

    First go in the EME settings, tab “Payments” and enter your paypal details.
    Then, when creating an event and setting the RSVP info, you can select that you want paypal for payment. That’s it …

    Thanks Frank. Now I know why the ratings for support are so high!!

    The event was setup already for Paypal – I didn’t remember doing it. I changed to Paypal Legacy and it worked immediately.

    Thank you very much,

    Randy
