[pdb_list] refreshing

    I do have one issue that I’m hoping you can help with. I have a link on the LIST page that takes me to the single record page (works fine), but when I navigate back to the LIST page, all my SEARCH/SORT criteria have reset, and all the database records show. Is there a way to keep the list filtered so that I can go back and forth between the LIST and SINGLE view?

    I also tried adding the SINGLE view to the LIST page, but the list still refreshed itself when I click to view the SINGLE record.

    If you want to preset a search and sort, you can do this in the shortcode using a filter and a sort field (check this…), but if you’re just talking about a user search on the list, yes it will reset then the page is refreshed. The plugin doesn’t have a way around that.

    That’s too bad. Do you think you will ever add this feature?
    One other Question: Is there a way to navigate to a thank you page after they fill in their main info, instead of going to the thank you page after they register. I dont want to thank anyone until they fill out all their info.

    The plugin doesn’t have a way of sending people to another page after they’ve filled out the full form. One possible workaround is don’t try to do it in two stages…in other words, put in the signup form all the fields you want filled out.

    Alternatively, you can show them a message when they successfully fill out the second form, it’s under the “record form settings” tab on the settings page: “Record Updated Message”. That may be enough to fill your needs.

    Xnau, is there a way to re-send someone an email link in case they deleted theirs?

    Yes, make sure the signup form setting for a duplicate record is set to overwrite a record with the same email. Then have them sign up again with the same email address…they will be given the private link again.

    They may enter several reocrds (like listing multiple sales on ebay). If i set the duplicate field to be their email address, will it let them enter multiple records from the same email and link to each one individually?
