pdb_list sort and search placement

Thank you for this plugin! I am using PD Version 1.5.4.9.

For the search and sort options of pdb_list search=true sort=true, I’d like to either or both:
a) display side by side instead of stacked, or
b) display below the table

As it is now, sort and search push the table almost below scroll.

I fear the answer may be to:
1. set-up custom css class, then
2. change pdb-list-detailed to surround ” <?php $this->search_form() ?>” and ‘” <?php $this->sort_form() ?>” with css.

I fear b/c doing that may be just beyond my capabilities.

I’ve read your documentation on xnau.com/, read through this board, and googled. Saw one reference to my question from a post to this board about two years ago, but didn’t see an answer. So thank you in advance if I missed my answer somewhere.
