pdb_total gone haywire

Hi, pdb_total is run against 3 text fields (they precede the numeric data type) for income received and one numeric field for estimated income.

Using different filters (membership type) it has been working fine for over a year, now the numbers are total nonsense. I can see no numeric correlation between the contents of the fields (as downloaded into excel and totalled) and pdb_total results. The only pattern is that the totals in one text field = the totals in the numeric defined budget field but they should be different as one is actual income the other is budgeted! Weirdest of all is pdb_total with no filter on a text field which shows a value 15x the actual…

Other testing: Converted two, urrently unused, text fields to decimal and numeric, made financial entries but totally ignored by pdb_total. In my old 3GL days I would have said this was an indexing problem but repair and optimising in phpmyadmin and plugins have made no difference.
