pdf and doc not allowed anymore?

have you already tried adding filetypes: (in this way [file file filetypes:pdf|doc|docx|odt]) to your input?

In any case, pdf and svg file uploads should not be allowed for (serious) security reasons.

I’ve never had to add such filetypes to allow docx to be included in the files allowed by cf7.

Is it mandatory now?

But is definitely a right choice to protect the security of your websites, so if you want to allow pdfs to be uploaded please remember that you will have to use very strong security measures or even better, encode pdf to jpg CLIENT SIDE

I’ll be testing again this “filetypes:pdf|doc|docx|” because yesterday on a website test didn’t work. Have you tried yourself?

yes tried and works! i’m able to choose a pdf file using filetypes:pdf

note that you need to remove the last pipe
WRONG “filetypes:pdf|doc|docx|”
CORRECT “filetypes:pdf|doc|docx”
