My plugins screen displays the message “This plugin is active but may not function correctly because required plugins are missing or inactive.” Also, “Requires: PDF Embedder” (which has not been tested with my current version of WordPress)

  • Hi @michaelmatzkin,

    Thanks for reaching out!

This usually comes up when you have installed the Premium plugin without installing the Lite (free) version.

Please know that the?PDF Embedder Premium?plugin requires the free version of the plugin to be installed and activated on your site as well.?

If you have the Premium version installed, you can simply install the free version by going to Plugins > Installed Plugins on your WordPress dashboard.

Then scroll down to the PDF Embedder Premium section and click on the PDF Embedder link as shown here: https://a.supportally.com/i/K4Aygi.

This will open a pop-up screen for the free PDF Embedder version. Click the Install Now button to install the plugin. Then click the Activate button.

When you return to the Plugins screen, activate the Premium version as well, and you should be all set.

I hope this helps. Thanks ??
