pdf file is read at 0 byte instead of 180 in the upload directory

  • When i upload other files like jpg doc everithing is allright i can download them from the forum, but when this is a pdf file I can upload the file but i can’t download it from the bbpress forum .
    When i check on the server, the file is in the right directory /wp-content/uploads/2017/10/SE401Q106.pdf with the good number of bytes but thrue the internet navigator (chrome opera mozilla is) the value is at 0

    I tried whith other pdf files the result is the same

    I have tested the upload with this file, and it is uploaded correctly. It is either some server issue on your end or conflict with some other plugin. My plugin uses WordPress Media Library to upload files, so if some other plugin is causing the problem to the media library, the upload can fail like this. It is rare, but it can happen. Try to switch to default WP theme and disable other plugins to try.
