PDF has no content

Hi…

Please post a complete list of additional plugins. My guess is that something like Next Gen Gallery is running, and this is a known conflict (the authors are aware of that and are working on a fix).

99.9% of the time when you get blank output, something is keeping us from seeing the url or the content, and there’s not much that we can do without narrowing down which plugin is causing the issue.

Thanks for such a quick response. I do have NextGen running so that’s no doubt the cause. I’ll look for an alternative for the time being. Thanks again.

I’m still hopeful that they will address the issue. The response I received from Photocrati on March 24 was:

I am able to re-create this issue and will be passing this along to our developers to review as soon as they can.

I did have a quick look at your code, but nothing jumped right out saying where the issue is being created so this will need to wait for our developers to do a more in-depth comparison.

At this point, I’m still waiting for a follow-up. I’ll mark this topic resolved for the time being, as the resolution is “known issue.” Look for an update to either plugin for a real fix.

Hi, Tracy…

Good news:

The workaround for those using the NextGen Gallery plugin is to add the following to the theme’s functions.php:

add_filter( 'run_ngg_resource_manager', '__return_false' );

which effectively keeps NextGen Gallery from intercepting the download of the generated PDF.

Please give that a try when you have a moment (assuming you’d still like to use WP Post to PDF Enhanced), and let me know how it goes.
