PDF links not update for Elementor posts and pages

  • This plugin is very useful for us, thank you.
    Unfortunately, it doesn’t update links for pdf files included in posts and pages made with Elementor, when one checks option to “use the new name and update links”.
    Is there a workaround or is it a bug?

    Sorry Gerard but clearing cache don’t solve the problem.
    Each time the media to be replaced stay in a Elementor page or post it is not replaced and I got an error because the previous media file has disappeared from media library. I have to modify each link manually.
    It would be great if you could address this issue!

    Has this issue been resolved. I am using Elementor as well, and when I replace PDF with a new filename, the previous links on various pages are not updating.

    Here is the mail I received last 21th after further investigations from Shortpixel side :
